Welcome to Alessandro’s, a little slice of Italy in the centre of Havelock North, Hawkes Bay. We specialise in Woodfired Pizza, combining fresh, authentic ingredients with craft and tradition to create pizza which tastes like Napoli.

Woodfired Pizza
Our food is made fresh in-house, combining the finest quality imported Italian ingredients with fresh, locally grown produce. Alessandro’s pizza sourdough is naturally leavened for a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) and rolled out to make 12″ bases, which are then wood fired between 60-90 seconds before being served to you hot, fresh, and delicious. The Italian Way
Our equipment, ingredients, menu & staff come from Italia, and like most Italians, we’re very passionate about where we’re from and what we do. We make ‘Neapolitan’ Pizza, which means we use certain ingredients and techniques originating in Naples. Read more about what a Neapolitan pizza is here.
